Bookings must be paid in full prior to your pet’s arrival.

Public Holiday Surcharges

Please be advised that a surcharge per pet, per day will apply to all pet boarding bookings including the day of arrival or departure during Easter, Christmas and New Year holidays (Please confirm exact dates with our staff).

Pet Boarding Terms and Conditions

  1. To board at Pawfect Stay, all pets must be aged 5 months or over and fully vaccinated. Two consecutive vaccinations must be shown upon admission.
  2. The Customer/Owner agrees and acknowledges that all Pet/s must have obtained up to date C5 vaccination prior to Check-in and Pawfect Stay reserves the right to request written proof of vaccination be provided by the Customer/Owner in relation to allpets as a condition of stay prior to Check-in. Proof of vaccination will be asked for, and dogs will not be able to stay if this proof is not provided.
  3. The Customer/Owner warrants that their Pet will be delivered to Pawfect Stay at the time of Check-in a clean and tidy condition free from fleas or ticks. In the event that any Pet is found to possess fleas, ticks or a like condition Pawfect Stay reserves the  right to require the Pet to be washed and treated as deemed appropriate in the our absolute discretion with all associated costs incurred by us to be reimbursed by the Customer/Owner at the time of Check-out.
  4. Pawfect Stay reserves the right to refuse entry of any pet.
  5. Boarding rates are charged on a per calendar day basis and the Customer/Owner agrees to pay the rate for boarding effective on the date the pet is checked in to Pawfect Stay (as advised in the price list). If the pet’s stay is reduced during high/peak periods, the full booking amount is payable.
  6. The Customer/Owner agrees to pay all costs and charges for special services requested during their pet’s stay. Customer/Owner agree to pay all veterinary costs for the pet during the time the pet is in Pawfect Stay’s care. If Customer/Owner has private pet insurance, details of the policy should be provided to Pawfect Stay prior to visit to the veterinarian.
  7. If a booking exceeds the original booking dates and no further payment has been received within one week, Pawfect Stay reserves the right to commence proceedings to recover the debt, which may involve debt recovery and/or the sale of the pet. In this scenario, Pawfect Stay will follow its Abandoned Pet Procedure.
  8. Under no circumstances will Pawfect Stay, its employees or agents, be held responsible for Paralysis Tick, Canine Influenza, injury, death, loss or damage of any kind whatsoever, whether or not caused by any negligent, act or omission of Pawfect Stay, its employees or agents, that may occur to any pet staying at Pawfect Stay.
  9. Pawfect Stay reserves the right to adjust/change the pet’s services to ensure the safety and welfare of all pets staying at Pawfect Stay.
  10. The Customer/Owner agrees that they have requested companion boarding unless otherwise stated in the booking.
  11. The Customer/Owner certifies that he or she is the sole Customer/Owner of the pet, free and clear of all liens and encumbrances and is solely responsible for any and all acts or behaviour of the pet while it is in Pawfect Stay’s care.
  12. The pet will be delivered to any person who is prepared to declare that they have the Customer/Owners’ authority to do so unless otherwise instructed in writing.
  13. The Customer/Owner hereby allows your pet to be photographed and/or filmed, which will occur only at Pawfect Stay’s premises in a controlled situation. Photographs and/or footage may be used by Pawfect Stay for promotional or advertising purposes.
  14. By signing these conditions the Customer/Owner certifies to the accuracy of all information given about the pet. The Customer/Owner acknowledges by signing this contract they agree to the above terms and conditions.

 

Medication Terms & Conditions

  1. We are happy to administer any medications/supplements to your pet during their stay with Pawfect Stay.
  2. Prescription medications will be adhered to the instructions provided on the medication.
  3. Please ensure that all medications are properly labelled in their original packaging with your pet’s name and dosage amount/instructions written on the veterinary practices own label.
  4. It is important to note that whilst we take all due care when giving pets their medications, we do not accept any responsibility for any reactions or side effects that may occur. If we are unable to administer your pet’s medication for any reason you will be notified, if you are contactable your emergency contact and/or your veterinarian will be called, and they may be required to pick up your pet, and any costs incurred will be the responsibility of the owner.

Pet Taxi Terms & Conditions

  1. While the utmost care and attention is given to your Pets, they are handled with the understanding that, to the extent permitted by law and subject to the applicable limitations and exclusions otherwise set out in this Agreement, Pet Professionals, our employees, and subcontractors:
    • will at no time to be held responsible for loss, death, illness, injury or accident due to any cause (other than negligence), either natural or accidental; and
    • will not be under any liability and are hereby released from any liability for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss or damage (including pain and suffering, emotional or psychological loss and damage, loss of opportunity, indirect, remote, abnormal or unforeseeable loss or any similar loss whether or not in the reasonable contemplation of the parties at the time of agreeing to these conditions or the provision of any Services) arising out of the supply or use of the Services, death of or injury to your Pet, failure to supply, or out of any breach of contract or warranty including breach of an essential term.
  2. Our maximum aggregate liability to you:
    • for failure to comply with a Consumer Guarantee (where applicable) under the Australian Consumer Law in respect of the supply of the Services which are not of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic or household use or consumption; and
    • for loss or damage suffered by you as a result of any breach of this Agreement or in relation to this Agreement or the Services, is limited, at our sole discretion, to:
      • supplying the Services again; or
      • paying the cost of having the Services supplied again.
  3. You should ensure that you have adequate insurances to cover any risks.
  4. Nothing in this Agreement is intended or will be construed as excluding, restricting or modifying or having the affect of excluding, restricting or modifying the application of all or any of the provisions of the Australian Consumer Law (Consumer Guarantees).

Abandoned Pet Procedure

  • Pawfect Stay reserves the right to commence Abandoned Pet Procedure if:
    • Pawfect Stay issued invoice is overdue by > 2 weeks
    • Dog’s owner has failed to respond to Pawfect Stay’s attempt to contact (via email, phone or listed emergency contact).
  • Pawfect Stay may surrender abandoned dogs to the nearest animal rescue centre or local council pound. 
  • Pawfect Stay reserves the right to commence debt recovery with our partner debt collection agency.
